@HEALTH es una comunidad de organizaciones de investigación, empresas y administraciones públicas procedentes de Europa y Latino América, interesadas en tecnologías, aplicaciones y novedades en e-Salud (eHealth).

Esta comunidad favorece la diseminación de tecnologías y prácticas en eSalud existentes en Europa y Latino América, adaptadas a las necesidades y estándares locales, así como a acciones de investigación específicas que conducirán al desarrollo de tecnologías escalables, flexibles y usables.

A través del portal web de @HEALTH tendrás la oportunidad de compartir conocimientos relacionados con eSalud con personas y organizaciones de distintos países con distintas culturas y bagaje técnico, incentivando la cooperación en iniciativas de I+D y el crecimiento económico del sector de eSalud en Europa y Latino América.

04/23/2008: New funding opportunities for collaboration EU-LAM
The European Commission has recently published three interesting funding opportunities to promote the collaboration between European and Latin American regions. The opportunities are related to different sectors depending of the objectives of the programmes; in particular the call for proposal are: URB-AL III to contribute to increasing the degree of social and territorial cohesion within local and regional entities in Latin America; the programme ALFA III to encourage the co-operation between higher education institutions of EU and LAM countries; and the programme AL-INVEST IV an economic co-operation programme that aims to support the internationalisation of SMEs in Latin America in collaboration with their European partners to reinforce social cohesion in the region. 03/10/2008: LAC-ACCESS: Travel grants for LAM researchers
With the idea to facilitate contacts and the creation of collaboration projects in the frame of FP7, the LAC-ACCESS project offers travel grants to Latin American researchers to participate to Conferences taking place in the EU and concerning the six priority areas: Health, Food, Agriculture and Biotechnology, Information and Communication Technology, Energy, Environment, Economic Sciences, Social and Human Sciences. The aim of this grant scheme is to facilitate LAM researchers’ access to specialized conferences, to promote exchange between them and European researchers as well as to encourage contacts between institutions so that they may explore possibilities for joint participation in the FP7.
